Maple Memories Retreat

I just want to put the word out there is anyone is looking for a great retreat for scrapbooking this is a great place. It would also be great for other hobbies as well or womens retreat.

The work space was roomy and plenty of area to put all your supplies. The bedrooms had plenty of space as well, and the bed I slept in was very comfortable. The Kitchen was very well stocked and there was nothing that we needed or was missing to prepare our food.

Our group has been to 3 different B&B / craft retreat and this one would be at the top of my list since our number one spot is no longer in business.  That was a sad day.  All with in a 4 hour drive from KC only one in Iowa the rest in Kansas. Our problem is we have a group of about 20 but usually only 12 can go as we all have busy lifes and trying to work with everyones schedule is crazy then to find a place that accomadates 12 all with singles beds is work.  But we think we have found a new location.  Even though we didn't have meals prepared for us we all pitched in and still got good quality time scrapbooking.

My only wish about this location is a checking/arrival time on Friday to be earlier like Noon-1:00pm and check out on Sundays to be 2:00pm that would give you a full 48 hours.

The town is peaceful and beautiful and I look forward to coming back to such a relaxing town.
